Substance-Free Athletics Community Night

The Newfound Area School District and the Newfound Coalition for Youth invite families and community members to join us for an informative and engaging evening focused on Substance-Free Athletics.

This event is designed to build a shared understanding of how to have productive prevention conversations and support healthy decision-making around underage alcohol and drug use. Together, we aim to support, inform, and empower our students and community.

All are welcome, including:

  • K–12 parents and caregivers
  • Educators and coaches
  • School and community partners
  • Health care professionals
  • Community members

Join us for a pasta buffet sponsored by the Newfound Coalition for Youth and catered by the Homestead Restaurant.

Space is limited. Advance registration is required for dinner.


Childcare Provided | 5:00–8:00 PM

NRHS student leaders will supervise and entertain children with dinner, sports, games, puzzles, and crafts.

Please register so we can plan appropriately for the number of children attending.


Presentation: Substance-Free Athletics | 6:30–7:30 PM

Vive18 will present the latest scientific evidence on substance use and sports, offering valuable insight for:

  • Coaches
  • Families and caregivers
  • Educators
  • Community members

All are welcome to attend the presentation. Registration is not required for the presentation, but is appreciated.
