Fourth of July in Bristol!

Friday, July 4th

🎆 4th of July Parade
10:00 AM | Theme: Stars, Stripes & Sparklers
We’re inviting individuals, groups, and businesses to be part of this year’s parade! Build a float, march with your club, or simply join the fun.

New this year: Kids and adults are welcome to decorate their bikes and ride in the parade!

After the Parade:
Stop by the 5th Annual Open House at the Bristol Safety Center to explore trucks and equipment. Event runs until noon.

🏃 Firecracker 5K Road Race
13th Annual Newfound Firecracker 5K hosted by the Newfound Cross Country Program

• Race begins at 8:30 AM (Kelley Park, near Newfound Middle School)
• Day-of check-in/registration opens at 7:30 AM
• Pre-registration: $25 (includes race t-shirt for the first 60 to register before June 16)
• Race day registration: $45 (cash/check only)
• Medals awarded to top male and female runners (18+ and under 18)
• All registrants entered in race day raffle

Proceeds benefit the Peter Corneliusen Memorial Scholarship, awarded annually to a Newfound track & field athlete. The scholarship honors Pete Corneliusen, teacher and program co-founder, for his dedication to sportsmanship, competition, and community.

• Fireworks show at dusk
• Note: Shore Drive closes to all traffic and parking at 4:00 PM
