Meet Instructor Mackenzie Fredericks!

My name is Mackenzie Fredericks and I have been training dogs professionally for the last 9 years. My experience ranges from the extremes of personal protection and rehabilitation all the way down to basic obedience. I find the best approach is to simply, train the dog in front of you, meaning, use the tools and methods needed for each individual dog. This is known as balanced training, using a mixed approach of positive and negative reinforcement and reward depending on what each dog requires to be successful. My training program’s current focus is to prevent behavioral problems and solve already existing ones by helping owners understand their dogs.

I am an AKC certified evaluator (#102023) for any and all CGC, STAR and trick dog certifications.

I am quickly closing in on my doctorate of animal behavior with New England College.

My breeding program for my beloved Kangals has been accepted by Good Breeder and we are excited to expand our breeding with Mercy.
