TTCC YOUTH BASKETBALL

ANNOUNCEMENTS:

  • Preseason “open gym” starts 9/29!  We’re excited to share a new opportunity for all of our Newfound Basketball athletes! As a collaboration between TTCC, NMMS, and NRHS, we’re offering preseason Open Gym / Shoot Around sessions to help players get in some extra gym time before the regular season begins.
    • When: Mondays & Thursdays, beginning Monday, 9/29/25
    • Where: NMMS Gym
    • Times:
      • 6:30pm: TTCC 3/4 & 5/6 Teams
      • 7:30pm: Middle & High School athletes
    • Format: Open gym focused on shooting and skills. No scrimmages or full-court play.
    • Please Note:
      • If your athlete is currently participating in a fall sport, that team should remain their top priority.
      • These sessions are simply a chance for players to get shots up and ease into the upcoming basketball season.

 

  • TTCC regular season registration opens 10/1/25!
  • Skills assessment will be on 11/22/25 at the Bridgewater-Hebron Village School
    • 8:30-9:30am – for ALL 1st & 2nd grade players
    • 9:45-10:45am – for 3rd & 4th and 5th & 6th grade girls
    • 11am-12pm – for 3rd & 4th and 5th & 6th grade boys

  • LIL’ HOOPS: This program is for ages 3-5 as an intro to basketball activities. No assessments for this level.  Lil’ Hoops program runs Saturday mornings at the TTCC, group 1 will be 9-9:45am & group 2 will be 10-10:45am. Lil’ Hoops begins 1/10/26.
  • 1/2 COED DIVISION:  This coed division is for children in 1st & 2nd grade.  It’s basketball FUNdamentals, for children to begin to learn the basics of basketball and start to play some fun scrimmage games (4v4). Saturday mornings at the Bristol Elementary School – specific times, days, & optional skills night TBD. Assessments on 11/22 & first team practices 12/6.
  • 3/4 DIVISION:  We offer boys teams & girls teams at this level for children in 3rd & 4th grade.  Covers basic instruction in fundamental skills, team concepts and game play in an instructional setting with equal playing time. Weeknight practices & games plus Saturday mornings from mostly at the Bridgewater-Hebron Village School (BHVS). Specific schedule with days, times & locations TBD. Varies depending on the number of players, coach & court availability. Assessments on 11/22 & first team practices 12/6.
  • 5/6 DIVISION: We offer boys teams & girls teams at this level as well for children in 5th & 6th grade. Continued work on fundamental skills, team concepts and game play with equal playing time. Weeknight practices & games plus Saturday mornings. Specific schedule with days, times & locations TBD. Varies depending on the number of players, coach & court availability. Assessments on 11/22 & first team practices 12/6.
  • 7/8 & HS REC: We offer a team at this level for anyone interested in some fun recreational basketball. We play in the Merrimack Basketball League & mostly play games on Saturdays. First team meeting / practices / game schedule TBD.
  • SEASON SCHEDULE*Schedules are subject to change! Season runs from mid-November / beginning of December right up to February Vacation for regular season teams. Tournament teams / All-Stars* typically continue into March. Days, times & locations will vary- specific schedule is TBD (based on # of teams, coach & facility availability and other factors!)
  • COST:  $40 per player for Li’l Hoops & the grade 1/2 Division. $50 per player for 3/4, 5/6, 7/8 & HS.  Scholarships are available.
  • *We plan to offer all-stars again this year for the 3/4 & 5/6 levels…For anyone interested in playing on all-stars, please stay after assessments for more info. All stars will be for kids that are above average players that are looking for more competitive play, have a good coachable attitude, and are able to put in more time & effort. All-Stars will have additional scrimmages and enter tournaments at the end of the regular season (including over February Vacation). For all-stars, there is no guaranteed play-time – and depending on the number of kids that tryout, there may very well be cuts made – not everyone that tries out will make the team! This will be completely coach discretion as they will consider skill, attitude, position(s) played, availability, etc.
