GENERAL PROGRAM DESCRIPTIONS:
LIL’ KICKS: This program is for ages 3-5 as an intro to soccer activities. No assessments for this level. Lil’ Kicks program runs on Saturday mornings at Kelley Park. Begins 9/13 and runs through 10/25 – 2 sessions, 9am & 10am.
K/1 DIVISION: This coed division is for children in Kindergarten and 1st grade. It’s soccer FUNdamentals, for children to begin to learn the basics of soccer. Assessments will be Saturday after Labor Day. Program Runs Saturday mornings from 10-11am at Kelley Park in fall.
2/3 DIVISION: This coed division is for children in 2nd & 3rd grade. Covers basic instruction in fundamental skills, team concepts and scrimmages in an instructional setting with equal playing time. Assessments will be Saturday after Labor Day. Program Runs Saturday mornings 8:30-9:45am at Kelley Park in fall with an optional skills night during the week.
4-6 DIVISION: This coed division is for children in 4th – 6th grade. Involves continued instruction on team concepts and skill fundamentals, moving toward regulation game play. Assessments will be Saturday after Labor Day. Program Runs week nights & Saturday mornings, times vary, at BHVS in fall.
TEAM FORMATION: After skills assessment, players will be distributed equally among teams. We will try to honor any requests, but can’t guarantee team placement as our #1 goal is forming even teams.
SEASON SCHEDULE: *Subject to change! This fall sports league will run on Saturday mornings from 9/6-10/25, plus K/1 & 2/3 may have optional skills nights 1x / week & 4th-6th level will have weeknight practices & games as well. Days, times & locations will vary- specific schedule is TBD (based on # of teams, coach & field availability and other factors!)
COST: $50/player, includes uniform shirt & mouth guard. Scholarships are available.
